Transforming a prominent city centre redevelopment into a premium advertising opportunity
The Property
90 Colmore Row occupies a prominent corner position at the junction of Colmore Row and Temple Row, immediately adjacent to Birmingham Cathedral and Cathedral Square in the heart of the city's established business district.
The redevelopment programme includes a comprehensive reimagining of the building across seven floors, with high quality office accommodation, premium amenity space and a rooftop terrace overlooking Cathedral Square.
The scale of the works created an opportunity to incorporate a premium 1:1 building wrap and large format advertising scheme into the construction programme, generating significant additional revenue for the property owner while improving the visual amenity of the site during the works.
Delivering a large format building wrap alongside a complex city centre redevelopment required careful planning and close coordination with the wider project team. The scaffold and construction programme needed to accommodate essential site infrastructure, access requirements and changing operational needs throughout the works.
The building wrap and advertising installation therefore had to be carefully designed around these requirements without compromising the operation of the construction site or the quality and impact of the finished scheme. MediaCo OOH worked closely with V7 Asset Management, RED Construction and the wider project team to coordinate the advertising solution with the requirements of the development programme.
